The St Louis Area Art Club was founded to enhance the skill of artists of all levels from beginner to advanced. We are a non-profit, fine arts organization,  Our club is based on the following goals:

     * Promoting Artistic Talent
     * Enhancing Artistic Expression

     * Furthering the Fine Arts
     * Assisting Art Students
     * Making Charitable Contributions

Membership can be either Active or Associate.  Active members participate fully in the operation of the club and in the
organization's exhibits.  Associates enjoy the meetings and encourage our members.

Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month to conduct the business affairs of the Club.  Afterwards,  professional artists demonstrate and instruct members on how to utilize various techniques and media in order to improve their work.

St Louis Area Art Club provides five member shows each year. Our shows are judged by professional artists who critique the work and give suggestions for improvement. Prizes and ribbons are awarded.  The culminating event is the Award Show which includes all winning paintings of the past season.

The St Louis Area Art Club sponsors many fun activities: picnics, parties, sketching opportunities, and field trips.
